Yeahh, right now my had is flooded with barrels of fresh idea, spirit and energy to plan my future. I know it's a little weird, usually it happens to a freshmen who have just entered the University, or a fresh graduate student who has just finished the "amazing 4 years fighting" in the University, but me? yeah a third year Univ student, what makes me so on fire to fight for my future?
Honestly, my three years study in University of Indonesia wasn't well prepared. I always do anything as a last minutes (or sometimes seconds) action. That's why most of my work didn't show my best. And now, in my last one year, I think i found what i want most.
To be a Professional Consultant

Yeahhhhhhh!! That phrase sounds cool doesn't it? Professional Consultant!! That i want most to be in the several years later.
Why should a Professional Consultant?
Actually this idea comes when I do my internship program at Unilever Indonesia. There I do a very interesting project related with improvement on Unilever Indonesia Supply chain system. More specific is in "deliver" part from supply chain management stage (source-make-deliver). When I learnt about this project, I was forced to learn about how Unilever did their job in managing the supply chain system. And the coolest thing according to my is how the improvement project is conducted.
Most of the improvement projects were inspired by a simple thing. But it can bring a very significant impact in the way Unilever improving the efficiency of supply chain system and sometimes improve the ULI's customer satisfaction.
After learning about it deeply, i slowly realize that the same problem strongly possible happened on the other companies. Then when i started to do my project, i realized that to be a problem solver is a very interesting job. Combining creativity, communication ability, well structured thinking style, and expert in statistical and mathematics seems very cool job to be done. And I think, to be a Professional Consultant also means a never ending studying time. It's fun because we're pad to learn, analyze and conducting a solution.
Well, of course before qualified to enter world top consulting firm, I have to work extremely hard. Because, I was not born with super computer brain, I have to invest all my time to learn how to be a good consultant.
But one fact that I realize, before starting to solve problem out there, I have to take a lot of attention to my problem first. It means my first consulting client should be my own self. Why? because right now my life runs awfully.
Then here there are some list that I have to fulfill before graduated in September 2012 :
1. Stop to be a deadliners!!
2. Start to review about :
1. Problem solving skills.
2. Calculus
3. Statistical (DOE, Probability,Control)
3. Prepare good english
4. Upgrade your CV dude!!! (No one would hire a looser to consult)
Well, that a big to do list. But as Bunda Marwah Daud from MHMMD told me, If we can dream it, we can reach it.
Hope i will have opportunities to join one of these huge consultants companies :

Ameeeeennnnnn :D
