This afternoon while I was waiting for my manager called me for early report for my internship program. I browse some cool websites to kill my time. Once I opened MIT website and interested to read about how people with limited financial support could passed MIT test and run their study there.
Then I read some of their profile, some of them are coming from a really poor family. Even one of them comes from the full conflict country, Palestine. Reading their story about how they got in MIT makes me feel like a coward.
I came from a better family, growing up in full financial support. Some of them are coming from broken home family, unstable country but they can proof that destiny is too valuable to give up for. And now they can enjoy learning what they love at the best Technological Institute in the world. Of course that also offers them limitless opportunity to learn from the best lecturers and a worldwide professional network.
Reading those stories, I realize one fact. That life is too short to stay comfort, life is too big to be usual, and life without danger is not a real life. Viverse pericoloso.
